Last Satuday (November 26th) East 73rd had a stand at the Le Chat Noir Vintage Fair in Cork City. While living in London I have previously attended many vintage fairs and I was delighted to arrive and see that this fair was just as good as any of the ones I've attended in London. There were a variety of stalls selling everything from vintage jewellery to clothes, furniture and cupcakes!!
Organisers Leona and Jill even arranged a fashion parade to allow the businesses that were exhibiting at the event showcase their items. See below pictures of two of our outfits which were modelled in the fashion parade:
The dress in the picture on the top is a handmade 1950's dress which I absolutely love. It is available to buy in our online store for €90. The bag is €35 and the mink neck piece is €30.
The skirt in the picture on the bottom is €20, the top is €40 and available in sizes S/M and M/L. It is from one of the new labels we stock and they base their designs on vintage styles. The bag is €35, the gloves are €15 and the fox neck piece is €30.
Not only was East 73rd selling at the event, I made a purchase too. I saw loads of things that I wanted to buy but unfortunately funds are low at the moment. However, there was one bargain I just couldn't resist - the chair in the picture below which I bought for only €20. Although it needs some repairing, I just love it!
